I’m Jennifer Willigenburg and am currently studying Communication and Multimedia Design with a focus on UX/UI design. What drives me is designing things that are accessible for everyone and are made with empathy, as well as engaging in social design.
My passion for making the world a more accessible and empathetic place started when I was young. Growing up with a little sister who has a mental disability, I experienced firsthand how society treated her and our family differently. This experience shaped me and made me want to make a difference, leading me to become a more empathetic and caring designer.
Beyond designing better websites, apps, games, and experiences, I love photography, being creative, and gaming. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I’m an open book!
I’ve gained hands-on experience through multiple internships during my MBO education, though I have yet to complete one for my bachelor’s degree. However, I’ve worked on various projects throughout my studies, which you can explore under Projects.
